I love fabric. All you sweet people out there who got me hooked on the stuff, ......thanks a lot! I'm coo coo crazy for fabric. But, so far, I've kept it under control. So that's pretty good.
I was commissioned to do two quilts for two special people and here's what was decided on...
The FULL line of Anna Maria Horner's Good Folks!!!! I have to admit that I wasn't sure about this fabric line when it first came out. I used a wee bit of it to make this camera strap, and fell.in.love. I want to cover my house in it. Those of you who've seen my "fun-colored" house, know this would not be a huge leap ;) I'm a little addicted to color. So, I dare you to use some of this line if you haven't already....but be warned....you'll be addicted ;)
P.S...Humpty Dumpty "fell" into the shop today

I love how it all looks together. I'll be excited to see what you do with it all.
I love your illustrations. Humpty Dumpty is very cute, but Little Miss Muffet is my favorite so far. Can't wait to see what you do next!
I'm also addicted to color! I'm trying to learn to use a little less... but it's so hard! There are just too many great combos (it's just too bad they don't all go together)
pretty!! i haven't seen it in person, but is on my list!! :) can't wait to see what you create!!
I love it, too. I can't wait to see the quilt you make!
i'm a sucker for beautiful fabrics too. my problem is that i love looking at them all folded and stacked (much like you have photographed them) so it kills me to start cutting them up to make something. ridiculous, i know!
Yeah for me you don't have embedded comments anymore! :) Actually I figured out how I can comment on embedded comments now, just in time. I love those fabrics, I'll take one of each and eat them for breakfast. Yummy. :)
beautiful collection. i could see it all together.
I also wasn't so sure about this line at first. Then I ordered a fat quarter bundle to make a quilt for my sister-in-law and loved it so much that I picked a quilt design that would allow me to have a bit left over! :)
I'm trying to justify buying a half-yard bundle of the entire collection.
Is it bad that I just want to roll around in all of that fabric because it's so beautiful? :)
