Willard the Gnome Fabric

Have you all heard of the website, Spoonflower.com? GREAT site that allows you to upload your designs and order printed fabric! I just received my first sample swatch of some gnome and mushroom fabric I illustrated. What do you think?? I'm thinking of ordering some yardage to have available in the shop.

The photos don't capture the true colors exactly...it's rainy and dull here today, so my lighting is all off. I would say the gnome's jacket is a pretty, medium shade of aqua, and the design is printed on a creamy pale yellow cotton/linen blend!

  2. Wow. AMAZING! I was on flickr a little while ago and I got a peek at the fabric you designed(!!!)- My thoughts: "That is so cute! What a find, I bet someone already snatched that up in the swap group." But you designed it! It's the best on spoonflower that I've seen, honestly. You should definitely put some up in your shop.

  6. Please Ariel please, DO have it printed up. I would buy a yard or two. I have always wanted some gnome fabric as my surname rhymes with gnome and we've always had gnome pranks going on. I've been lurking on your blog for sometime now (I'm blogless) and will be watching anxiously to seen when you get some printed out. P.S. I'm a teacher too--does that score any browni , I mean gnomie, points???
